Reviews and Ratings
During our stay in Japan, the hotel offered very spacious and clean rooms, but the location was a bit inconvenient for tourists. The service was excellent with helpful staff, and the dining experience provided a mix of Japanese and European cuisine. The facilities were satisfactory, and the price was considered reasonable.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and had big verandas, perfect for groups to gather and socialize. The service was top-notch, with kind and prompt staff. The location was fantastic, right between Kujo and Jujo, and a pleasant 15-minute walk to Kyoto Station. The dining was amazing, especially the home-made smoothie and salad. Overall, a great experience with a few minor downsides.
The hotel delighted me with its perfect room setup for work, complete with a desk strategically placed near the window and air conditioning. The quirky and spacious room with its own Zen garden and wooden bath added a charming touch. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, adding to the cool concept of the hotel. While not super close to key attractions, the location had its nice touch. The dining was good, but geared more towards Japanese tastes. Overall, a great stay at this hotel.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were incredibly spacious, with big verandas that were perfect for socializing. The Zen garden and wooden bath added a tranquil touch to the room ambiance. The only downside was the location of the desk in relation to the window and air conditioning system.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with great amenities, conveniently located near the train station. The service is friendly and helpful for a comfortable stay. The dining options are extensive, catering to various tastes, while the facilities enhance the overall experience.
The hotel rooms were surprisingly large compared to other Japanese standards, very comfortable with a mini living room feel due to the sofa provided. However, there was no hygiene kit available. The service was accommodating and friendly despite some difficulty with English. The location was a bit inconvenient being a little off from the subway stations. The dining offered a great variety of fresh and delicious buffet style options. Overall, a comfortable stay with minor inconveniences.
During my stay in Japan, the hotel had everything that was needed. The rooms were beautifully furnished, had art on the walls, and were set up very cleverly - a perfect fit for small accommodations common in Japan. The rooms were well-decorated, comfortable, and had excellent sound isolation, even though our room was right in front of the elevator, we didn't hear any noise coming from it. However, being near the subway required a 10-minute walk, and by 8:30, many vegetarian breakfast dish options were empty and not replenished.
The hotel offers more space than the average room and is well organized to maximize the space available. It's like having a mini living room inside your hotel room. The staff were cheery and so helpful, especially in filling out the luggage shipping form. The location is nice and quiet, making it perfect for accessing everything the city has to offer, but can be a bit far if you walk from the station. The dining experience is outstanding, with lots of veggie/vegan options catering to Japanese tastes. The facilities were straightforward with everything needed available.
I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and sound isolation of the rooms, especially since our room was right in front of the elevator. The only downside was that the room wasn't very warm even with the AC on. Given the location in Japan, particularly in Kyoto, my expectations weren't high.
